This year, the Vaziry household has been making the most of the DINKNP (dual income no kids no pets) life in San Diego. When we aren’t traveling, we are hosting friends or working on projects around the house and backyard. To make the endless trips to Home Depot more exciting, Kean traded his loyal Honda Civic for an F-150 appropriately named Big Blue.

We’ve had a couple exciting promotions: a job promotion for Kean and a joint promotion to Tita and Tito (Tagalog for Aunt & Uncle). Alissa gets to stop by every Tuesday on the way home from the office to spend time with Mila and the Grokes.

Some of our favorite times are traveling to celebrate with others or hosting family and friends in our own backyard. We have discovered our passion for facilitating gatherings, making food, and eating it together. We might be up to more than a few grills now….but we’ve stopped counting (and the last one was a curbside freebee). They all get used and the bbq and grilled meats are to sweat for!
