Moving on up

From CA to WA

As you can see, I made the move to homeownership. I transitioned from Sunnyvale to Redmond in October. This is a multi-level townhome in a new-development area with many long-awaited items I am now enjoying: multiple rooms, a nice kitchen with new appliances, a attached garage, washer/dryer (that doesn’t require coins), and so much more.

It was cost effective (and safer) to self-move my computers, 3D printers, tools, desks, and other items by rental truck. With only a little pack/unpack help at each end, Dad and I drove and delivered everything needed.

Haley, my cat, is adjusting very well, too. She is appreciating the big windows, extra rooms, and three floors to explore. I’ve already hosted visitors including Anna & Sean (who live close but lost power during a recent storm), also Dad, Mom, and cousin Jason.

My car finally has it’s own garage

Haley and I both have a nice office view

It was great to host Thanksgiving this year

Space made

for making

I now have a workshop/study and garage to really expand my projects and fully explore my maker tools that including several 3D printers, a welder, electronics tools, and more. I custom design and printed pack-out storage boxes for most everything—all tools and components. I installed shelving and racks to aid me in keeping everything clean, tidy, and in its place.
